Client Brief

Complete design, refurbishment and fit out of new Lordswood Osteopathic Clinic with top of the range surgery facilities. This area has been planned to allow the business to grow.

Project Summary

The brief from Sue at Lordswood Osetopath clinic was that she needed to expand and move from a one person office/treatment room to a larger space offered by Lordswood Leisure Centre. This would allow her to have a waiting area for client, two treatment rooms and allow her business to grow.

The space presented had been previously used as a spray tan/shower treatment and beauty room. Understanding the clients branding and the process for taking bookings and how long clients had to wait and storage needs ensured our Design team were able to minimise too much demolition of the existing main central wall which divided the space currently into two areas.

The front area was to become the client waiting area, creating a corridor to allow clients to choose either of the two treatment rooms. Flooring was an essential consideration for Sue as she needed to be able to clean floor areas easily.

Improved lighting, new wash basins, small consultation desk points, storage for products, small reception area, music system, partitions to create these separated areas, signage and joinery completed the clinic refurbishment project over a 3 weeks period.

The client wanted to decorate the space in order to save some money and so this became a working project partnership with our client on site.
